We recognise the importance of family partnerships and believe our service will be enriched through their valuable contributions. We accept each resident and family in relation to their values, culture, beliefs and abilities. We encourage families to communicate regularly with our Home and we commit to providing updates in regards to your loved one. Melaleuca interacts with families via the telephone, written correspondence, a monthly newsletter and also through surveys.

As a community based organisation we are committed to building strong relationships and welcome community involvement recognising it as an evolving resource benefiting the resident, family and community.  We invite community organisations and individuals to be a part of our Home.

Melaleuca is a registered charitable institution. As a stand-alone community based not for profit organisation we value any gifts and donations. Any donations received are invested in items for our residents comfort or activities they may not normally have access to such as bus trips, outings or additional equipment. Donations can be made via cheque, cash or direct deposit into our bank account or alternatively contact our CEO.
