Our Facilities:

Melaleuca Home is a 48 bed residential aged care facility located in the East Devonport community, with views of the Mary Binks Wetlands, East Devonport Football Ground and surrounding farmland. We are located close to the East Devonport shopping centre, the Mersey River and within a short drive of the Mersey Community Hospital.

Communal Areas:

• Lounge Areas - At Melaleuca Home we offer various comfortable and cosy sitting areas for residents to enjoy, including a central lounge with large television for movies, library lounge, puzzle lounge, and a number of cosy areas to sit and enjoy the gardens, participate in craft activities or enjoy a cappuccino at our coffee mornings.
• Dining Area - We also have a spacious and comfortable dining room overlooking a lovely garden and views of the wetlands.
• Courtyards - Our four courtyards provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, whether it is pottering in the vegie garden or flower beds, sitting enjoying the murals in our mural courtyard, enjoying a cuppa or just relaxing in the shade overlooking our gardens.
• Hairdressing Salon - Residents have their own modern hair salon available for our weekly service or private hair care arrangements.

Residents’ Rooms:

Each room has its own private ensuite and views looking out to our gardens or courtyards. We have 11 rooms with direct access to courtyards bringing the outdoors in. All rooms are tastefully decorated with in-built wardrobes and comfortable furniture such as an electric bed and bedside table. Entertainment features include wall-mounted television and access to free Wi-Fi.
